Dan is writing a book entitled Tiger Guide to the Piano, to be published by Golden Bear
Publishers, Inc., of San Diego, CA. The book will be a beginner’s guide to
playing the piano, with several of the songs following the “tiger” theme. It
will also integrate math and science, specifically acoustics, the physics of
sound. It will teach not just what to do, but how and why music works so
wonderfully. The musical examples will include “Mary Had a Little Tiger,”
“Sharps and Flats Forever,” “Piano Star,” and many more.
Dan will have a half page listing in the second volume
of Treasures of Wisconsin, to be
released shortly by Morgan & Chase Publishers. The book is a hardbound
coffee table edition featuring interesting businesses and service providers
